EERIE: New Album Title Announced

November 26, 2007

VANMAKT's Gorgoth (a.k.a. Tais) has issued the following update on his Swedish gothic/doom metal project EERIE:

"After lots of discussions and e-mailing with several labels EERIE has decided to release a full-length album next year! This gloomy creation will be entitled 'As The World Comes To An End'! 6-7 songs will embrace your haunted and darkened lives, hopefully by the autumn of 2008. More info regarding the release will come when we feel that it is time to let you know. Until then, feel free to download our demo songs at our MySpace."

According to EERIE's official bio, the band "was formed by Tais in 2007, but has grown inside his mind since 2003. The love for doom and gothic/metal has always been a big part of Tais' life, and since the first time he picked up the guitar to write a song it has been melancholic tunes that have arisen. That's why he has been playing in a lot of constellations with a direction against the melancholic and melodic goth/metal."
